Pannone Engineering Services, LLC was founded in February of 1991. PES specializes in the design, testing and installation of on-site water and waste water systems. We also have expertise in civil site design. PES perform’s engineering designs, analysis and evaluations of essential infrastructure throughout the state of Alaska.

Steven Pannone, Principal, Senior Civil Engineer, ASCE Fellow
Overall Contract and Project Management is the responsibility of PES’s Engineering Division Manager and Managing Partner, Mr. Steven R. Pannone, P.E. Mr. Pannone is a Registered Environmental Engineer in Alaska & Registered Civil Engineer in Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Florida specializing in the planning, design, and construction of large and small engineering projects, including rural and metropolitan airports; water, sewer, and storm drain systems; parking areas for commercial buildings, ports, airports, and housing developments; and above and below ground fuel storage facilities. He has sixteen years experience in the management of Corps of Engineers, Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Housing and Urban Development, Municipality of Anchorage, and Federal Aviation Administration funded and managed projects. He is a lifelong Alaskan with more than 40 years of engineering and construction experience. Mr. Pannone’s background includes experience in survey, design, construction, testing, and monitoring of engineered projects. He has worked all over the state of Alaska, including extensive time in the arctic and remote regions. He takes a practical approach to design, taking into account how and who is going to be doing the construction. He has hands on experience in the construction of buildings and large earth works projects, as well as the monitoring and testing of engineering projects. Mr. Pannone is also a certified asbestos manager/planner and an ADEC/MOA certified water/wastewater designer and sanitary surveyor. Mr. Pannone is a licensed private pilot with over 1500 hours of flight time.
Logan J. Curtiss, EIT
Logan brings more than six years of experience in planning, design, permitting, and construction of civil infrastructure projects throughout Alaska. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage. His experience includes civil site and land development design, specializing in wastewater treatment systems, along with water system design, utilities, transportation, and construction-phase support for commercial, industrial, municipal, and residential projects. He focuses on developing practical solutions that support reliable project delivery and long-term performance.
Trevor Orear, EIT, LSIT
A civil engineering and land surveying professional with over two decades of accumulated practical experience in the construction and engineering fields. Who has garnered expertise in several sectors of the construction and engineering industries, including; electrical power and control systems, heavy civil construction, construction management, land surveying, land entitlement, and civil design. Holding a Bachelors Degree in Construction Engineering Management from California Polytechnic State University Pomona. This diverse experience base contributes to the thoroughness of thought applied to each project; whether it be development planning, land subdivision, infrastructure planning, mass grading, site design, onsite systems or contract administration. Understanding the needs of the client and the intended project use are accomplished through open and honest communication. Ensuring that the final product not only accomplishes the immediate need, but is done so in a manner that continues to provide value over its lifespan.
Aaron Paradis, EIT
Aaron Paradis is a civil engineering professional with more than fifteen years of experience in construction and engineering design, including eight years with Pannone Engineering Services. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage and specializes in civil site design, water system design, and wastewater treatment system design. Aaron brings a strong blend of practical construction knowledge and technical design expertise to each project, helping support reliable infrastructure solutions and effective project delivery from planning through completion.
