Merrill Field Improvements (1991) - Anchorage, AK

Mr. Pannone provided engineering services during the design phase of this project. This project consisted of constructing and improved taxiway to Alaska Regional Hospital and a multipurpose apron; improving the storm drain system through the old Merrill Field landfill to clean up the effluent discharging into Chester Creek; improving the security of the field by upgrading the fencing and installing vehicle and pedestrian gate locks; constructing a visitor viewing area overlooking the field; and installing tie-down electric outlets. Mr. Pannone was also the Civil Construction Manager for the Construction Phase of the project. He was responsible for ensuring that the contractor conformed to the contract documents; negotiating change orders; and developing monthly pay requests.
